Wonderful wilderness nearby in Algonquin Park – Top 10 reasons to visit Algonquin Park this spring, summer or fall
Last Wednesday the Ottawa Citizen’s acting Chief Editor called me up at work just minutes before I was headed off on holidays to see if they could use an image of the Barron Canyon I took from a trip to the area last Thanksgiving for an article they were going to publish on Algonquin Park. Of course I agreed but soon forgot about the whole thing until today when I noticed a member of the Algonquin Park Forum recently posted it online.
The image isn’t my first choice of my many Barron Canyon images I’ve taken over the years that really captures the essence of ‘MyBelovedAlgonquin’ but it’s kind of neat to see it there online!

Glitches in WordPress
Many of you may have noticed that parts of my site have been down for the last few months all of which have been caused by certain glitches related to WordPress. I continue to experience these anomalies i.e. missing photos; posts; pages and in a few instances – irrelevant draft posts appearing out of nowhere. So please bare with me as I try to fix these along the way.
If there’s anything on the site that once was and is no more, please let me know and I’ll do my best to get it back on.
